RBS Skimmers rely on adhesion of oil to the surface of a rotating brush, drum or disc cartridge. As the cartridge rotates through the oil / water surface, the oil adheres to the surface and is removed by a scraper. The product is collected in a common sump and pumped away.  The brush can be interchanged with a drum or disc cassette in less than one minute.
