Waterfront Security Barrier

In light of the heightened security concerns worldwide, maritime security has become a major issue. There are several areas of concern when determining waterfront security procedures. These concerns are notification of restricted areas, intrusion detection and prevention, and a response. Each specific type of marine facility may have different needs to consider when determining what types and levels of security are necessary.

SEACOR Environmental Products and the Yodock Wall Company have partnered to provide a Waterfront Security Barrier System. The Yodock Wall Company has been supplying traffic security barriers for over 10 years and has designed the waterfront security barrier to delineate restricted areas while providing both a visual and a formidable physical barrier. It can be connected to mooring buoys, pilings, docks etc. or anchored into a fixed position or configuration. Once the system is in place it can be used as platform which can accommodate intrusion alarms, signage, sub surface nets, and remedial devices. The Yodock modules accommodate the installation of fencing to increase the height and visibility.
