Description: Boom is a multi-purpose curtain type oil and debris containment boom. It features dual tension members (cable on top and chain ballast) and has solid polyethylene foam flotation. It is designed with shortened end connectors which allows the boom's skirt to settle on the bottom in tidal areas during low tides and prevents the end connector from dragging the bottom when deployed in shallow water. The skirt depth is designed for use as a deflection boom in fast river or tidal current.
